CCAP is one of Rhode Island’s largest organizations dedicated solely to fighting the war on poverty. Our professional staff provides a wide spectrum of services designed to help those in immediate need and empower anyone desiring to become more self-sufficient.
Our service delivery area includes Cranston, Scituate, Foster, Warwick, and Coventry. Other CCAP programs provide services in North Providence, Providence, Smithfield, Johnston, North Smithfield, Burrillville, Providence, Pawtucket and Glocester. In addition some programs provide services on a statewide basis.
CCAP lends a hand to individuals and families when times are tough. We help them weather difficult times and provide support as they work towards personal and economic self-sufficiency.
Our programs meet the needs of disadvantaged community residents…sometimes an illness or job loss will make a devastating difference in someone’s life. CCAP began helping the people of Cranston in 1965 and has since expanded to provide numerous programs and services throughout many areas of Rhode Island.
