Since 2006, CCAP has received uninterrupted accreditation by The Joint Commission (formerly known as Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, or JCAHO.

The Joint Commission is an independent, not-for-profit organization, which accredits and certifies more than 20,000 health care organizations and programs in the United States.

Joint Commission accreditation and certification is recognized nationwide as a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to meeting certain performance standards. To earn and maintain The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval™, an organization must undergo an on-site survey by a Joint Commission survey team at least once every three years.

The National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) has awarded their highest level of recognition (Level III) to CCAP’s Family Health Services of Cranston, Family Health Services of Coventry, Warwick Health Center, Warwick, and Primary Care Partners Health Center, Warwick, as Patient-Centered Medical Homes! A Medical Home ensures a highly skilled model of care which emphasizes care coordination and communication between patients and their providers. Rigorous performance standards must be met to receive this advanced level of recognition. Our Head Start and Childcare locations are licensed by DCYF; our Atwood Avenue Head Start site has a 5-star rating from Bright Stars, the Rhode Island Quality Rating System. BrightStars is Rhode Island’s quality rating and improvement system, recognizes and supports quality in child care and early learning programs.
