Coming Soon: CCAP Warwick Health Center
We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of our new Warwick Health Center at 206 Buttonwoods Avenue in Warwick. The ribbon cutting ceremony took place on Wednesday, April 3rd, 2024, and was a momentous occasion, with distinguished guests including Senator Reed, Senator Whitehouse, Mayor Picozzi, and Speaker Shekarchi.
Our new Warwick Health Center responds to the community’s overwhelming demand for patient care. With our previous Warwick facility operating with two providers, adding a third provider at the existing site still left schedules at total capacity, underscoring the critical need for increased healthcare access. The new building will accommodate a fourth provider, enhancing the center’s capacity to serve the community’s healthcare needs.
Key Services:
CCAP’s Warwick Health Center is committed to providing comprehensive and accessible healthcare services. The new facility will offer services, including but not limited to Family Medicine, Integration of Behavioral Health in Primary Care, Chronic Disease Management, Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT), and various health screening services. The opening reinforces CCAP’s dedication to meeting the diverse healthcare needs of the community.
Community Impact:
Community Health Centers play a pivotal role in increasing access to primary care by eliminating barriers such as cost, lack of insurance, distance, and language. CCAP has been at the forefront of providing Rhode Island residents with comprehensive healthcare services for decades. “The new facility not only represents a physical expansion but signifies our commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care,” stated Joanne McGunagle, CCAP CEO and President. “We are excited about the positive impact this will have on our community, and we look forward to continuing to serve as a trusted family health provider.”
